Easter Sunday

The end of an era!

On Easter Sunday, we said goodbye to James as he leaves NCBC to become minister at St Andrew's Street Baptist Church, Cambridge. Since September 2006, we have been co-ministers and this has been a blessed time for me in so many ways. James, Debbie and the children will be greatly missed but we pray God's blessing on them...

Good Friday

Pop up church

Transforming Norwich and Foodbank worked together to organise a pop-up church to mark Good Friday and raise awareness of Foodbank. As Chair of Transforming Norwich and a trustee of Norwich Foodbank, it was great to be a part of this event. You can read more about it here..

Walk of witness

In the afternoon, there was the traditional march of witness between Chapelfield Road Methodist and the Cathedral, followed by a united service

Quiz Evening

April is the month we say 'good bye' to the East family after nearly ten years in Norwich. We will miss them but are enjoying celebrating their time with us. First up was a quiz evening - James, Debbie, Jenny and I made up team 'Pastormind' and romped to a (well-deserved) victory!

On the Sunday evening around 100 people gathered to hear James and Debbie interviewed. Stories and pictures, as well as a little 'Mr and Mrs' competition was a fun way to find out more about them.
